“Play” is framed as research and experimentation within design and this "state" of Play ranges from tactile exploration of material such as the moulding of clay to the digital and computational design of a system. The theme also suggests that the environment we are operating in, Singapore, is well positioned and conducive for explorations, testing and experimentation. The lecture series aims to complement the exhibition by extending the dimension of Play into practice and also provide a perspective of the future.
